Access & Identity

Connect approved identities and credentials to the right doors, areas and permission periods. KEYPLUS brings smart locks, readers, controllers and related interfaces into a complete access lifecycle for guests, residents, staff, visitors and contractors.

System at a glance

  • Application: Room, unit, lobby, gate, floor, restricted-area and temporary-access workflows.
  • Components: Electronic locks, cylinders, readers, controllers, door hardware, contacts, gates, intercoms and gateways.
  • Integrated capability: Relate approved identities, permissions, access events and device conditions to wider operational workflows.
  • Operational value: Issue and change rights consistently, reduce unmanaged keys and review exceptions with clearer context.

Designed around a real operating responsibility

An access system must match the opening, user journey and local safety requirement. Door construction, lock-body dimensions, power, wiring, credential technology, connectivity and mechanical fallback all affect the design. Shared administration does not mean every device accepts the same credential.

Core system capabilities

Manage the complete permission lifecycle

Create, authorize, issue, verify, change, expire or revoke, and review according to the approved identity source and business process.

Support different opening types

Combine suitable locks, wired access, gates, elevator interfaces and other controlled points while respecting the local hardware and life-safety design.

Handle connected and intermittent devices

Define how credentials, revocation and event information reach online controllers or intermittently connected locks, including timing and failure behavior.

Give each role appropriate control

Separate daily issuance, security review, technical maintenance and policy administration so users see only the information and actions they need.

Components, interfaces and system boundary

Possible components include smart locks, electronic cylinders, RFID, QR or mobile-capable readers, access controllers, electric strikes, magnetic locks, door contacts, exit devices, pedestrian gates, intercoms, elevator interfaces and gateways. Functions and compatibility are confirmed by model, firmware and credential format.

Where intelligence adds value

Access analytics can highlight repeated exceptions, policy conflicts or unusual permission patterns for authorized review. Platform assistance may organize identity, door, time and policy context, but should not infer a person’s intent or automatically label normal activity as suspicious.

Follow one event through the system

  1. An approved identity becomes eligible for a role

  2. the administrator assigns permitted spaces and periods

  3. the credential is delivered through the supported process

  4. devices apply the update

  5. access or exception events are recorded where available

  6. a role change or end date removes rights according to policy.

Engineer and accept the system properly

Inspect every representative opening, define credential and enrollment methods, confirm privacy and administrator roles, and test valid entry, invalid entry, lost credentials, temporary rights, revocation, network loss, power loss and restoration. Mechanical and emergency behavior requires qualified local review.

Where this system can be applied

Use the system across hotels, rental housing, campuses, offices, retail back-of-house areas, hospitals and multi-use properties. Each environment has different identity sources, turnover, offline tolerance and audit requirements.

System planning questions

Can locks and wired access share one workflow?

They can be evaluated together when both device families expose the required operations and status.

Is mobile access mandatory?

No. Choose supported credentials around users, devices and fallback needs.

Is revocation instant at every door?

Timing depends on connectivity and device behavior and must be tested.

Define the system around the required outcome

Share the site type, operating responsibility, approximate scale, existing equipment, required interfaces and the event or action the system must handle.
